OldSoul-food favorites -Asheville-Style

It's THAT time!!!! And we are excited about gathering heirloom–tomatoes, holy basil, parsley, and pole beans, at the North Asheville farmer's market. (Organic,of course.)

Do YOU remember the delight of harvesting  as a child?  We do, so we also have our own specialty garden. A  kind touch from a caring gardener even in a small space, can result in bounty!  These beauties, fresh-picked and still warm from the sun, are sure to taste like nothing you buy in a store ... .

We grew our harvest from seeds from Sow True Seeds  headquartered right here in beautiful Asheville, N.C.    Sow True specializes in open-pollinated, non-hybrid and GMO-free vegetable, herb, flower and cover crop seed as well as seasonal plant starts, sweet potato slips, asparagus crowns, seed potatoes and garlic.

These are some of our OldSoul-food favorites  ... .
