"This looks like fun! " enthused the fourth-grader. Mom and Dad and Grandparents, our real estate clients on their initial visit to the area and in search of land for a "family legacy", smiled.
He was right. It was cute! And, best of all, not only their energetic nine-year-old
was ready to hop aboard, but the whole family.
That welcoming little electric "limo" seemed to beckon everyone to take a tour of eco-friendly properties happening in urban Asheville, North Carolina.

Of course that was no secret to us. We already knew and had experienced just how really adept the "Wee Green Machine" - ( it is small, and it is Electric-see photo) is at inviting visitors to accompany one of our Eco-Certified® Real Estate Consultants to explore the sustainable neighborhoods nearby. For years part of our mission at the Eco-Steward Firm has been to let people know about sustainable development and eco-friendly real estate by providing programs such as our eco-drives that help our clients learn about sustainable Asheville.
So it was decided. Today, the family would start by "feeling out" Asheville and her historic neighborhoods, and tomorrow they would tour potential conservation lands to the north of the city.
NOTE: Alternatively, for larger groups and more distant destinations, enthusiasts can select and reserve the "Biodiesel Dream Machine "Limo" (Mercedes-see photo).
Every year people flock to the mountains and the Asheville, North Carolina, an area of extraordinary beauty. Here, a rich history of stewardship, where "green" is the buzzword, and leading edge eco-design and development divulge something important , folks find that, even in this small way, they can participate in sowing the seeds of sustainable innovation.
Possibly, this small interlude to explore what is happening in eco-friendly real estate here in Asheville portends an abundant harvest to come. . . in a way that has meaning for each person... .

It is a green adventure for a one or two, or an entire family or a group .And it is a way , without pressure, quietly to infuse a sense of what's happening in the "green property scene" in the Greater Asheville Area.
