Now and then, often when least you expect it, a photo arrives in your life that makes you just have to smile. Kids, and kittens and kites flying high in the sky can all have that effect. This sunny Asheville morning I had to put my coffee cup down to capture a conversation that got me grinning ear-to-ear .
I'm just not quite sure what they were saying...but could this be proof--positive that pet-friendly conversations do take place high in the mountains? And does anyone have a clue what they were saying"

Wishing YOU a smile this Sunday morning. . .

Aw that is too cute! Wouldn't you love to know what they are saying.
We got a new rescue dog a couple of months ago. One of our cats will rub up against him and then pop him for good measure. I have to wonder if our cat is not saying "I expect you to stay in line, none of that running around crazy."
My dog and cat talk to each other all the time. It is so cool.
I know they talk...Cosmo (older cat) taught Magic (younger cat) how to yowl all the way to the vet....he did show him how to take a bath...(as a runt his memory was stunted...Mom had too many kids or he was lazy), begging works....oh yeah...they talk...
What a cute photo! The dogs are probably saying to the kitty - LET US IN! Thanks for the smile on Sunday morning!
Rita
janeAnne, I was going to say what Rita said, so I'll go with "hey doggies, let me out." I've been blessed with 9 dogs who not only tolerated my cats, but also were their friends. The cats get a warm body to snuggle with, the dogs get the occassional massage.
Hi janeAnne, I'd have to guess the doggies are wondering if there was anything to eat on the other side of that slider!
JaneAnne, last time my dog talked to the next door neighbor's cat, she was saying let me in while the cat was screaming "Mommy don't open that door!" :-)
