janeAnne, Your community is wonderful for building and thinking that way.  It's strange that it seems more popular in the City then it does here on Long Island.  I'm not sure why but most places are not building "green" or leaving enough of what little land we have left.

JaneAnne know ledge is key to maintaining a balance .  In my area preservation is big, my town have spent money buying development rights to maintain open space.
