OK so we would need 3.2 planets if everyone lived the way I do. But it could have been worse! At least I have some concrete ideas on how to lessen my impact.

Thanks for the Ecological Footprint Quiz. It provided pertinent information about how I might make some changes in my lifestyle in order to leave a lighter footprint on my journey. I have a tendency to think I live a fairly 'green' lifestyle. However I think I will try your advice and TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

janeAnne There are many, probably most of us who need several planets to provide our resources. No matter how close to the land one would choose to live it has become a global world. The adage  "Think global, Live local" comes to mind. Or is it the other way round? "Think local, Live global".

Sami...Sometimes I wonder what would block people from looking at creative ways to resolve the challneges we face in our contemporary society...even to the large issues of global warming...it affects us all, and could be as real estate professionals, we might be able to bring a basket of flouroescent light bulbs as a closing gift and make a BIG difference, for example. If a  million REALTORS decided to offer this as a token of our appreciation for sustainable communities..can you imagine the impact it would have?..here are a few ECO-friendly tips we like to share withour clietns
