These numbers are provided by the 5 County Western NC Regional MLS system and represent
residential home sales in Buncombe (Asheville Area), Haywood, Henderson (Hendersonville Area), Madison and Transylvania (Brevard Area)  counties.  Land/lots are not included in these figures.  If you would find other stats helpful, such as individual counties, let us know.

Not much of a change from March.  The strong buyers market continues and inventory crept up a wee bit as the general selling season gets into full swing.  Buyers have a great selection to choose from including short sales and foreclosures which generally take some patience as they are slow moving.  Low interest rates continue and I can't imagine a better time for buyers/investors in a position to purchase than now.  Come see what all gorgeous Western NC has to offer.
