SELLER sRo or sEo ??

 

Asheville Real Estate Journal- web Seller Choices Expand - with Web-Savvy Seller Solutions

 

 

Over the past number of years the most effective way Sellers can reach potential buyers has evolved.

 

Online marketing strategies increasingly play a key role in effective outreach to Buyers.

so-called  “SRO” -  STANDING ROOM ONLY is pretty much the standard venue for old-timey outreach but there's a Big Problem here: There's so much of this SRO" that it doesn't get Selelrs on to Google's Page One,  leaving  those many  Sellers in  inferior positions…with weakened chances for sales production and results...

 

on the other hand...(drum roll)

 

"SEO"= SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION

 

"SEO"- Wikipedia-  the process of improving…visibility via the "natural" ..."organic" ...search results. is effective!  In general, it wisks Sellers to higher ranked positions as Buyers find their search results. And the more frequently an entry appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users..and the mor opportunities found to connect with a potential Buyer. No wonder Sellers seem to agree that SEO is an excellent choice.

A fine post on making it count online for you and your clients.  SEO and content mean so much along with a lot of other things to get and maintain that first page listing on Google.  It's a huge challenge.

Most sellers do not understand the intricacies of content and SEO optimization...(many real estate professionals don 't either, it seems)...It reminds me of years ago when sustaainable innovtion was only a term...

HI JaneAnne - great post and love it sRo vs sEo . . of course you think they all select SEO. And you are correct, my sellers and many people in general do not understand the intricacies of SEO.

The real estate buyer wants to save time, gas and to get complete information on the property listing and local area. Deliver like a little red hen but in new ways the buyer wants, needs. Or that buyer will find another agent, broker who is on his wavelength, frequency. Mediastreams, manage them and don't resent the time they take but instead consider trading in old way to not hit the target any more. New faster moving buyer wants instant, full information delivered in many methods to meet their needs. We are in the service industry. Serve cyberly.
